Instructions
I
like to do all my die cutting, shaping and coloring first. TIP: when stamping with Pigment ink you will
have to let it dry or set with a heat gun before die cutting and coloring to
avoid smudging. Using your Large Sweet Peony Stamp Set, stamp the flowers 2
times – (4 flowers in total, I used all 4 for 1 large flower) using the
Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick ink. Using the Large Sweet Peony Stamp set stamp
the medium leaf 6 times using the Color Box Olive Pastel Ink. Using your
Small Sweet Peony Stamp set, stamp the largest double peony 3 times – (6
flowers in total, I used 3 for each small flower). Using your Peony Bud and
Blossom stamp set, stamp your Large bud once using a mixture of the Olive
Pastel on the leaves and the Worn Lipstick on the bud. When your stamped
images have dried, use your stack and store daubers to color your flowers
using the Brilliance Pearlescent Coral. and the leaves with Memento Pistachio
ink. Once dried die cut with coordinating dies on your die cutting machine. Using your mini mister lightly spray your
flowers and leaves, shape your flowers and leaves using a Heartfelt Mold or
your Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Adhere your pearl cluster to the flower centers.
Cut your card base using the white linen
cardstock 12” x 6 1/8”. Fold your card in half, I like to run a bone folder
over the spine of the card to give it a clean finish. Trim the selected mat
from the Sweet Peony Collection, trim this down to 5 7/8” x 5 7/8”. Using your
large and small circle dies find the matching size die
to cut the circle from the center of the mat (set aside for the inside of your card). Using the frame of the mat adhere this to your card front, you will now have a white circle in the center, using the same circle die cut out the white section of the card to give you a aperture opening. Using the die cut floral circle (I used the opposite side of the cardstock) place some adhesive on this and with your card closed adhere through the opening of the aperture to the inside of the card, this insures your circle will line up with the opening. Using the scalloped circle die, cut a mat with your white cardstock and then using the same circle die cut used to cut out your floral, line it up over the scalloped die cut to create a frame, this will get adhered on the front side of your card to highlight the aperture.

Now you have all your elements done,
you can complete your card. Adhere the flowers, I have hung them over the
opening slightly so that you can see it through the aperture. Using 3d
adhesive adhere the “Have a Beautiful day” sentiment and you can loop the
tail at the bottom of the blossom stamp through your sentiment.
