Instructions

I like to do all my die cutting, shaping and coloring first. Using white cardstock Die cut 2 each of the Festive Holiday Dies TIP: When embossing it is always good to wipe down your cardstock with an anti-static pad, this stops what I call flyaways from getting on your design, this will give you a crisp clean image with no unwanted dots on you image. With the following flowers I stamped once then put on the embossing powder and heat set, then I did the second image and then the third repeating each step – 1. anti-static the cardstock 2. stamp the image 3. apply the embossing powder 4. heat set the image. Using your Large Sweet Peony Stamp Set, stamp the flowers 2 times – (4 flowers in total, I used all 4 for 1 large flower and 1 flower from the small set) using the White Versacolor ink and then the embossing powder and heat set. Using your Small Sweet Peony Stamp set, stamp the largest double peony 1 times – (2 flowers in total, I used 1 small flower to complete my large flower) using the White Versacolor ink and then the embossing powder and heat set.  TIP:  when stamping with Pigment ink you will have to let it dry or set with a heat gun before die cutting and coloring to avoid smudging. Using the Large Sweet Peony Stamp set stamp the medium leaf 2 times using the Color Box Olive Pastel Ink. Using your Peony Bud and Blossom stamp set, stamp your Large bud once using a mixture of the Olive Pastel on the leaves and the Worn Lipstick on the bud. When your stamped images have dried, use your stack and store daubers to color your flowers using the Brilliance Pearlescent Coral. and the leaves with Memento Pistachio ink. Once dried die cut with coordinating dies on your die cutting machine.  Using your mini mister lightly spray the back of your flowers and leaves, shape your flowers and leaves using a Heartfelt Mold or your Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Adhere your clear prills to the flower center.
Cut your card base using the white linen cardstock 12” x 6 1/8”. Fold your card in half, I like to run a bone folder over the spine of the card to give it a clean finish. Trim the selected mat from the Sweet Peony Collection, trim this down to 5 7/8” x 5 7/8”, we will be using the remainder of this sheet for the insert, trim the remaining cardstock to 5 7/8” x 5 7/8”. Adhere your front patterned mat and then adhere 2 green mats to the inside of your card.
Now you have all your elements done, you can complete your card. Adhere your Festive Holiday die cuts to the top and bottom of your card. Find the center point on the left this is where your large flower will be adhered, line up the blossom so you have room for one at the top and one at the bottom, adhere these in place, adhere your flower and 2 leaves. Using 3d adhesive adhere the “To a Beautiful You” sentiment.
