Other products

Die cutting machine, trimmer, scissors, mini mister, croppadile or eyelet setting tool, white card for stamping, Ranger Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink for stamping flowers, Brilliance Pearlescent Coral ink for coloring flowers, Color Box Olive Pastel Chalk ink for stamping leaves, Memento Pistachio ink for coloring leaves, pink sheer ribbon, Green Tara Pearl Clusters Ivory, 2 silver eyelets, white gift bag.

Instructions

I like to do all my die cutting, shaping and coloring first. Using white cardstock Die cut 2 each of the Decorative Medallion half circles. Using white cardstock cut a mat 8cm x 2.5cm. Stamp this with “A gift of love” stamp, trim the left side to a point.  TIP:  when stamping with Pigment ink you will have to let it dry or set with a heat gun before die cutting and coloring to avoid smudging. Using your Large Sweet Peony Stamp Set, stamp the flowers 2 times – (4 flowers in total, I used all 4 flowers to make 1 large), using the Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick ink. Using your Peony Bud and Blossom stamp set, stamp your Large bud 2 times using a mixture of the Olive Pastel on the leaves and the Worn Lipstick on the bud.  When your stamped images have dried, use your stack and store daubers to color your flowers using the Brilliance Pearlescent Coral and the leaves using the Memento Pistachio ink. Once dried die cut with matching dies on your die cutting machine.  Using your mini mister lightly spray your flowers and leaves, shape your flowers and leaves using a Heartfelt Mold or your Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Adhere your pearl cluster to the flower centers.

I have used a ready-made gift bag for this project because I wanted white, but you can use the beautiful cardstock in the paper collections to create your bags. Cut of the top of your gift bag to give you the desired height. Adhere your half circle dies to the top of each side of your bag. Using a croppadile or an eyelet setting tool place a silver eyelet on the top center of each side of the bag. Arrange and adhere your flowers as pictured. I have used the “A gift of love” stamp from the Celebrate the Season collection but you could also choose a sentiment from the Sweet Peony Collection. Adhere your sentiment just under the top of the flower as pictured.  Fill you back with filling before placing you gift inside and finish off with a pretty pink bow on top.

Happy Crafting
