Versacolor Ink – White

Peeled Paint Ink
Anti static Pad
Ranger Embossing Powder – White
White Cardstock
Diamond Stickles
White Button
Acetate

TIP:  Use an antistatic pad to wipe your vellum and cardstock first before stamping, it creates a static free environment so that only your stamped image is embossed.  When using a heat gun, don’t get too close to your cardstock or it will get a brown tinge.

Using the Butterfly Kisses stamp set, stamp the butterfly on white cardstock using your White Versacolor Ink, then cover completely in white embossing powder, shake of the excess and heat with your heat gun.  Repeat with one on vellum. I have colored these images using Broken China.  Color the cardstock butterfly on the front and the vellum butterfly on the back. Cut with coordinating die. Cut a strip of acetate approximately 1cm wide and adhere to the back of the vellum butterfly up to the head, leaving the flourishes free. Do not bend the top of the acetate like you will with the flower.
Using your Buttons and Blooms stamp, stamp the medium size flower in teal zeal, morocco, lilac posies and buttercup, lightly shade with the matching color and die cut with coordinating die. Shape with your deluxe flower shaping kit.
Using your leafy accents stamp, stamp your double and triple leaves using your peeled paint ink and color with same ink. Die cut with coordinating dies and shape in the 3D shaping mold.
Cut 4 strips of acetate approx. 1cm wide, you can cut the length when assembling the card. Bend the top of your acetate over about 1cm wot make a stand. Adhere 2 leaves, you may need to cut into singles and 1 flower to the front of each acetate strip and allow to dry. On the yellow flower adhere 1 white button.
Using your Patchwork Pockets stamp, stamp the pocket once each with bamboo leaves, lilac posies and buttercup, shade your pockets as pictured. Die cut with coordinating die.
Using your Hand stitched Accents stamp, stamp your "Birthday for you" stamp in Teal Zeal, die cut with coordinating die. Trim this into 2 pieces, the for you section and the birthday section. Color the leaves with bamboo leaves.
Cut 1 acetate strip 1cm and fold the top at the 1cm mark as you did with the flowers. This will be the ramp for your banner.
Using your Buttons and Blooms Paper Pad cut the background mat 6" x 6". Cut your white card base 12" x 6" and using a bone folder for a cleaner line fold in half.

Card Assembly

Adhere your front patterned mat. Adhere your vellum butterfly to the top left so as the top of the butterfly is coming out the top. Using your acetate ramp adhere to the right side of the card so it sits approx. 2 cm below the card top.  Adhere 3 flowers to the back of your yellow pocket (play around with the placement so it will sit on your card nicely, you may need to trim the bottom of your acetate strips so they are not hanging out. Adhere your birthday flourish to the back of the pocket so it sits as pictured. Line up your yellow pocket up on your card front for measurement purposes only do not glue in place and work out where your banner will sit best and adhere it over your ramp so it is floating in the air. Using 3d dots adhere your first pink pocket remembering that this is below the yellow level and the flowers will need room.  Using 3d adhesive now adhere your yellow pocket over the top of the pink pocket. Adhere your center flower to the back of the green pocket so that it fills your bunch and using 3d dots adhere your last pocket. Trim the top flourish of your cardstock butterfly and adhere with glue only in the center of your butterfly so you can bend up his wings. Using glue only on the right side adhere you’re for your mat and bend it up like a tag. Decorate with stickles as desired.

Adhere you first layer of peonies, using 3d adhesive adhere your white circle, then using 3d adhesive adhere your patterned circle. On the top peony tie a bow and adhere in the center. On the bottom peony I have fussy cut two layers to adhere over the top. Use 3d adhesive between each layer. Using 3d adhesive adhere your “Life’s Beautiful Moments” sentiment. TIP : Cut a large amount of tags from your leftover paper stacks, decorate with coordinating color flowers and have your sentiments cling sets on standby, there is a stamp for all occasion in these sets. With the ready made tag all you need to do is stamp it with the appropriate sentiment and you will always have something ready
in a hurry.

Using your Oakberry Lane Paper collection, select the sheet that fits your Album and Accents tag, you will use 2 sheets, cut two purple, 2 orange and 2 pink, but I have used the outer tag and inner tag, once each for each so that I end up with 2 different sizes for each color. You will be using the mats one up and one down. With the smaller one I have cut a matching larger tag to mount it on, so using your large tag cut 1 purple, 1 pink and 1 orange tag using bazzil.  Mount these using 3d dots. Using the smaller tag die cut 1 purple, 1 pink and 1 orange tag using Bazzill, adhere these to the remaining mats, these will be the same size and adhere flat using you designer dries clear adhesive. Apply a coordinating eyelet to the top of each tag.

Purple - using you Oakberry Lanes Blossoms stamp, stamp large and small flowers using Memento Grape Jelly and color with Brilliance Pearlescent Lavender. Cut with coordinating dies. Highlight the edges using the Grape Jelly ink.

Pink - using you Oakberry Lanes Blossoms stamp, stamp large flowers using Archival Magenta Hue ink and color with the same ink. Cut with coordinating dies. Highlight the edges using the same ink.
Orange - using you Oakberry Lanes Blossoms stamp, stamp medium and small flowers using Distress Dried Marigold and color with Distress Spiced Marmalade. Cut with coordinating dies. Highlight the edges using the Colorbox Orange ink.

Leaves - using your Oakberry Lane Blossoms stamp, stamp your leaves 20 times using Versafine Smoky Gray ink, color with Distress Peeled Paint ink and die cut with coordinating die. Highlight edges with Distress Aged Mahogany.

Using your ornamental tags die, cut 1 purple mat. Using your ornamental tags die, cut 1 orange tag. Using your arrows and banner die, cut 1 pink mat, I have placed a bone fold mark in 1cm from each end then I have placed a second approx 1cm in this will allow your to fold the tails in at the end, put a 3d dots under each section.

Spray your flowers with a mini mister and shape all the flowers and leaves using the 3D Blossoms Shaping Mold. When shaped adhere 2 of each flower together using designer dries clear adhesive. Set aside to dry before adding stamens. You may need to re highlight edges. Using your deluxe shaping kit, using the piercing tool and mat, pierce a hole in the flower centers and adhere white wired stamens to the purple flowers, the wire can be trimmed of, but leave one on the smaller flower and curl your wire, wrap it around a skewer or object of similar size and when you remove it you will be left with a spiraled wire. Adhere white stamens to the orange and pink flowers.

Assemble your tags -
Purple

Purple tag 1 - Stamp your mat with "Happy Anniversary"  sentiment from the Celebrate Love Sentiments cling stamp set using Versafine Smoky Gray ink. Using 3d adhesive adhere your sentiment mat. Adhere 2 leaves and one large flower to the top left of the tag. Thread through your ribbon.

Purple tag 2 - Stamp your tag with "Happy Mothers Day" sentiment from the Thank You Sentiments Cling stamp set. Adhere 3 leaves and one large and 1 small flower to the bottom right of the tag. Thread through your ribbon.

Clear prills.

Instructions

I like to do all my die cutting, shaping and coloring first. Using white cardstock Die cut 2 each of the Festive Holiday Dies TIP: When embossing it is always good to wipe down your cardstock with an anti-static pad, this stops what I call flyaways from getting on your design, this will give you a crisp clean image with no unwanted dots on you image. With the following flowers I stamped once then put on the embossing powder and heat set, then I did the second image and then the third repeating each step – 1. anti-static the cardstock 2. stamp the image 3. apply the embossing powder 4. heat set the image. Using your Large Sweet Peony Stamp Set, stamp the flowers 2 times – (4 flowers in total, I used all 4 for 1 large flower and 1 flower from the small set) using the White Versacolor ink and then the embossing powder and heat set. Using your Small Sweet Peony Stamp set, stamp the largest double peony 1 times – (2 flowers in total, I used 1 small flower to complete my large flower) using the White Versacolor ink and then the embossing powder and heat set.  TIP:  when stamping with Pigment ink you will have to let it dry or set with a heat gun before die cutting and coloring to avoid smudging. Using the Large Sweet Peony Stamp set stamp the medium leaf 2 times using the Color Box Olive Pastel Ink. Using your Peony Bud and Blossom stamp set, stamp your Large bud once using a mixture of the Olive Pastel on the leaves and the Worn Lipstick on the bud. When your stamped images have dried, use your stack and store daubers to color your flowers using the Brilliance Pearlescent Coral. and the leaves with Memento Pistachio ink. Once dried die cut with coordinating dies on your die cutting machine.  Using your mini mister lightly spray the back of your flowers and leaves, shape your flowers and leaves using a Heartfelt Mold or your Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Adhere your clear prills to the flower center.
Cut your card base using the white linen cardstock 12” x 6 1/8”. Fold your card in half, I like to run a bone folder over the spine of the card to give it a clean finish. Trim the selected mat from the Sweet Peony Collection, trim this down to 5 7/8” x 5 7/8”, we will be using the remainder of this sheet for the insert, trim the remaining cardstock to 5 7/8” x 5 7/8”. Adhere your front patterned mat and then adhere 2 green mats to the inside of your card.
Now you have all your elements done, you can complete your card. Adhere your Festive Holiday die cuts to the top and bottom of your card. Find the center point on the left this is where your large flower will be adhered, line up the blossom so you have room for one at the top and one at the bottom, adhere these in place, adhere your flower and 2 leaves. Using 3d adhesive adhere the “To a Beautiful You” sentiment.
